These days, people are very reluctant to believe blog posts about making money online. I know that over the years, I’ve found myself reading about people making money online and usually don’t believe what I read. Well, this is the case, unless they offer proof, but not just one set of payments, but rather multiple sets. Very one gets lucky from time to time, but it’s those who can show monthly proof, that really do actually have something worth writing about.

Over the months, I have shown some earnings here and there, and it has come to that time again, so show some proof, just to keep you all in the loop that I actually do make money online and that what I write on this blog is actually working. With the release of the new Yeigo 2.1 Edition, comes Yeigo’s new website. A beautifully styled website, with all the information you need - from all about sections to easy download areas to a knowledge base with everything you need to get going immediately.

I was over on Sessa’s blog earlier today, and I came across the list of top 10 most expensive keywords. These lists are always useful for those ‘webbies’ who are into creating landing pages and targetting specific Adsense adverts. Simple steps to get some great income: Create a website with a domain specific to one of these topics. Optimize your keywords, write some content, and splash some Adsense on. By targeting the adverts correctly, I’m sure you can see what a success this could have.

Spending time on affiliate marketing is something invaluable. Once you have spent a good couple of months reading, and a couple more playing around, you build a skills set, which can then be transferred to any form of online advertising. One thing I believe strongly in, is the difference between Search Engine Optimisation and actual Campaign Selection. Being able to drive traffic is a fantastic skill, but you need to drive your traffic to the correctly websites and landing pages. I have driven thousands and thousands of hits to certain landing pages, which have not driven any income what-so-ever, and then I have driven a little traffic to a landing page and earned 10 times the former.

Studying campaigns, relative to your traffic sources is key. If you are bringing traffic from a website which talks about travel and accommodation, then run relative adverts. This is a very obvious scenario, but it’s the foundation to successful online marketing. Early this morning, some partners and myself started running a campaign with TrafficSynergy and this campaign has proven to be excellent. We are running the Win a Trip to Mauritious campaign, which I’ve blogged about before, but this time we tried an alternative method, and it’s proven amazing thus far!
