AdRands Traffic Synergies AdWords!

I have something new for everyone, something fresh, and something fantastic. Traffic Synergy has launched a new campaign for generating traffic on your blog! AdRands, is the simplest way to get targetted traffic to any website with low startup costs and advertising budget! AdRands is very similar to Google AdWords, in fact, it is basically the same, but the best part about it is.. it’s LOCAL! And we all know that local is lekker.

The campaign is great, you get to decide your own budget, meaning that you won’t receive an invoice for hundreds of rands, which is a good reason why most people avoid these types of campaigns. I have taken a good read of the material available, and see this as a fantastic way to promote a website!

Here are some features:

  • An online marketing solution from a centralised point of control
  • Exposure on a multitude of online mediums
  • Affiliates will be managed on your behalf as early as the sign-up process.
  • Zero tolerance fraud prevention measures include Duplicate click verificationMulti-Dimensional Statistical analysis to monitor click ratio irregularities

Property & Romance done correctly!

These days, the chance of coming up with something new in terms of website ideas is getting harder and harder. Technology and the likes is still expanding rapidly, which would make us think that coming up with a new idea would be easy, but truth be told.. it isn’t! I have a number of websites, which I read daily through my RSS Reader, and some of them are excellent, perhaps not completely unique, but the content is interesting, and the authors are very reachable. In my opinion, being able to reach a webmaster plays a huge role, if you have a question, and the webmaster gets back to you sooner than later, I feel that the chances of you visiting the website again is definite.

Of my regular blog reads, there are two, which I am very impressed by, and have been following them, and reading them on daily basis for a good several months now. I am going to chat about each one below, and before you ask.. No, the authors did not ask me to review their websites, nor are they even aware that I am writing this.. so I do truly think these two sites are great!

Romance Tracker dot com is a fantastic website about Old-fashioned romantic ideas, and is authored by none other than Phil van Treuren. Phil and I have chatted a number of times via email, and from what I know of him, his experience with websites and the likes was not great (in the beginning). I remember Phil asking me several questions about search engine optimisation, and a few other things, and the difference between him and most of the people who ask me questions, is that Phil took the little knowledge I gave him, and spent a lot of time researching the topics, testing the topics, and mastering them. I have watched his website start off with a really simple design, and now his website has evolved from something simple into a portal for his followers, which there are many! From just being a simple blog, now you can now find books on his website, as long as a myriad of other things, which I am not going to talk about, rather head on over and take a read yourself! Phil.. I’m truly impressed mate!

Sa Property, by WizardMan is another website, which I frequent on a regular basis. His opening paragraph reads: “A blog and homespace aimed at helping and talking to the youth in South Africa to find great financial advice with regards to bonds, finance, investing, home loans and mortgages. This is also aimed at building a greater awareness to all in South Africa as property prices escalate.” - and that is exactly what the website is about. Steven takes a great deal of time keeping his viewers happy, so much time and effort, that I actually received an email the other day stating that I had won a hamper!!! I didn’t enter a competition or anything, it is just a completely generous offer by Steven, and this is something new to me - how many websites do you frequent, where you suddenly receive an email stating that you have won something? I hear you say.. NONE! Stevens website has also evolved over the last several months into something very worth while, I am a regular reader, and always will be, as the knowledge he shares, is priceless! Loving your site Steven!

So there we have it, two fantastic websites, both worth adding to your RSS feeds!

Patience is a virtue!

I have been monitoring my Google Adsense closely since the last cheque arrived, and decided to pick one of my domains to prove that being patient has a lot to do with affiliate marketing. As you can see by the graph below, the dollar amounts are plotted in the Y-axis, and these are relative to the days of the month, plotted on the X-axis. It is very clear that the Adsense on this domain has been steadily increasing over the last several weeks. Be patient, monitor your Adsense, and you will see it grow!

  • Need more than one website?

For those of you who have realised that having several websites, each with a different topic is a really great way to earn extra income, you will have realised that hosting is rather expensive. If you usually pay a fixed monthly fee for your website, and getting another website means getting a second hosting package, then you will know how expensive this can get. But how do you avoid this, and keep your costs down when it comes to hosting? Easy.. get your own web server. Isn’t that expensive or hard to do? Not at all.

Hostgator is a wonderful company, which offers hosting packages used for reselling. This basically means that for a small monthly amount you can buy plenty of space and bandwidth, and host plenty of websites all in one hosting area. Hostgator offer three packages, which I will list below:

    1. Shared Hosting @ $6.95/month
    2. Reseller Hosting @ $24.95/month
    3. Dedicated Hosting @ $174.95/month

A Shared Hosting account is a good start, but I would personally go for the Reseller Hosting account, as it has a good number of features on top of the Shared Hosting account, which is extremely useful. I have been using Hostgator for almost a year already, and have had no problem as of yet, and am not worried about having any problems for that matter. They have live support via the Website which makes it really easy to get advice when you are stuck!

Head on over to the website and have a read for yourself!
