Earn money online being a Web Entrepreneur
27 Aug
We all want to see results, and without results, we find it hard to believe this making money online thing, which seems to be getting so popular. I know that when I started, I immediately looked for proof before moving forwards. Once i knew that the blogger was actually making money successfully, I found it easier to believe his work and words.
In the same regard, I would once again like to show you all some proof of my work. I use TrafficSynergy religiously, and have learnt many little tricks with applying TrafficSynergy to a website. I will show you some proof now, and then explain some tips and tricks in my next article!

Hi Chris
Thanks for this - looks like you can quit your day job pretty soon!
Without wanting to suggest the above stats are incorrect, I have to say that I find them somewhat misleading. I have played with affiliate income for some time (albeit not seriously) on international as well as all the (that I known of) local affiliate engines like OfferForge (http://za.offerforge.com), Earnings Online (http://www.earningsonline.co.za/) & Traffic Traffic Synergy (pity I can’t embed tracking code and I must admit not only are you getting a excellent number of impressions (That natural traffic? Wish you could tell us what site or vertical your in but your conversion rates are through the roof! I have only ever seen that on incentivised campaigns..
Look forward to understanding more!
Hey bud,
The above stats are 100% honest, I screen dumped them off my affiliate login, and removed sales columns and the likes, as they were not important.
TrafficSynergy is fantastic, not only do they offer some very easy to target campaigns, they also avoid the whole javascript thing, which makes life nice and easy.
The impressions are large, and the click through ratio is impressive, I agree, but I’m unfortunately not going to give away the URL just yet. I want to let it run a little longer, see how things go, and from there, I will think about releasing some domain names, which have worked for me
Thanks for the comment and good luck with the affiliate marketing!
Hey Chris
Ok, so you caught my interest.. I had a quick look on TS for click campaigns that earn ZAR0.64 per click. 5 of them and they are all local.
Also, your column titles look nothing like TS’s stats columns.. let’s talk
Hi again,
Well, I’m not going to give away which campaign I am using, but yes it’s CPC campaign, which is local.
My columns look nothing like TS’s stats columns.. really? I think you should double check bud - I don’t take kindly to your slight hint of accusation
Check it out again though, I assure you that my screen dump is 100% legitimate, perhaps we wager a bet, after all it’s all about making money online
Hi Chris
What a nice surprise to find this posting!
TrafficSynergy is always delighted to see an affiliate enjoying their affiliate marketing experience and cashing in.
I have to verify for Chris that the stats screenshot is 100% authentic when you pull the stats using the “Daily” format. All he must have done was hide the Leads/Sales columns as they are not relevant on a CPC campaign to illustrate his point.
Chris, thanks again for using TrafficSynergy Affiliate Network to monetise your South African traffic!
P.S. I used your TrafficSynergy link on my name as it’s your blog and you deserve the credit.
Hi TrafficSynergy,
I appreciate the confirmation of my stats being correct. It has been an absolute joy transforming my affiliate marketing from Adsense to your campaigns. I have seen a MASSIVE increase in revenue, and I owe it mostly to your great support.
Shout.co.za - So there you have it bud
Time to check my stats again.
Chris - thanks for the email reminder to respond.. try the WordPress plugin Eric uses to send commenter’s an update when there is a response
Guys, when your done with all the ego stroking I think you should know I did have my doubts, but if it was in fact true maybe Chris would go the extra mile to tell us how he was getting those results since this site seems so eager to help people do the same… The fact that Chris promotes TS over any of the other affiliate network and the fact that Chris and Eric/Shelley (TS Directors) all run the “What’s your Facebook Application Idea?” (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5717912406) FB group suggests an element of collusion.. need I send a screenshot?
With regard to: “I don’t take kindly to your slight hint of accusation” - Well, yeah - I don’t really care My concerns over the column titles have only to do with me having looked at the columns on the statistics table on TS which shows columns as: “Campaign Name Impressions Clicks Leads Click Thru Ratio S/U Number Of Sales Total Sales Payout Total Banner Stats” - these are not the same as yours Chris - nothing more..
As for TS vouching for the facts - are they now able to do my compliance and audits? Sorry - but I don’t take that as fact
Chris, second time today I got an error when I hit the post button.
Response when there is an update, I thought I had that running, I think it must have been on one of my other blogs, thanks for the reminder.
I support TrafficSynergy, because from the first day I signed up with them, I had live support almost any time of the day, and I was helped a great deal when it came to choosing correct campaigns to use for my sites. Google however, did not offer any quick support or much support in any regard come to think about it, and I know I’m not the only one who will agree on this.
“Well, yeah - I don’t really care” HAHA.. I have to laugh, what a classic comment (thumbs up) hehe. I still hold fast on the fact that my results are completely legit, I did remove certain columns, but I mentioned that already.
Haha, I know their vouching does not prove anything, but it was a nice surprise to see none-the-less. You are welcome to doubt my honesty, that it up to you - “I don’t really care”.
Argh, it’s a silly RSS import script, with php headers typically giving issues, I will try sort it out - thanks!
Nice numbers, whether they’re true or not. What I find fascinating is that your EPC (earning per click) is constantly R0.64, so I take it you’re not getting paid for conversion, rather than per click, which is a model that can’t last for too long, as there isn’t an incentive for targeted traffic. Or is there? Correct me if I’m wrong…
Affiliate marketing’s success worldwide has been built on a pay-for-performance model, so I would enjoy those revenues while they last.
Hi Andrew,
Yes, you are right, I’m running CPC adverts off TrafficSynergy, which payout R0.64c - There are currently 5 campaigns offering this. Sa Camera Click Campaign is a fantastic campaign to generate a nice income from, and it will last, and has, for a very long time.
I love affiliate marketing, the more and more information I absorb, the better
Thanks for the comment!
All I can say is, Holy Moly! What are you doing, how are you doing it and how can I do that too?
Firstly , we just logged into FaceBook and saw that Eric and Shelly had been made Admins, which we were totally unaware of. We just got invites to the group.
Chris’s earnings are not incentivised as NO CPC can be incentivised on TrafficSynergy and we monitor this very closely.
Affiliate marketing is all about relationships and we pride ourselves on providing the service and synergy with our merchants and affiliates.
Being accused of any irregular conduct isn’t great. The facts have been stated above about the columns. This is the Daily view report, which all affiliates can run.
With regards to the type of campaigns, we have CPC, CPL,CPS and even Hybrid campaigns. The TrafficSynergy affiliate network provides the affiliate with a choice of campaigns e.g. SACamera has a CPC(with Sale tracking) and CPS campaign, so the affiliates can see the conversions to sale and decide which they feel would be more profitable.
Andrew, yes you are correct, we too believe in pure pay for performance marketing, but some merchants and affiliates prefer CPC or Hybrids. Each affiliate and merchant has their particular preferences and we endeavour to cater to their needs.
@Miguel - Yes, it is “Holy Moly” - I totally agree, and although I planned my foundations correctly over the last 6months, I never realised I would land in such a position!
My best advice is to sign up with TrafficSynergy (which I know you have done). Now, I know I sound like I am plugging them and everything, but when it boils down to the crunch, I am plugging them because they put me in this position. With their guidance and knowledge of online affiliate marketing, if you can bring a good idea to a site, they will put their knowledge with yours and help you make a success of it.
My Adsense earnings this month are some where around $500, which is almost a quarter of my TrafficSynergy earnings. “The proof is in the pudding”, as the title goes, and the title was selected for a good reason.
@TrafficSynergy - thanks again for visiting my blog, and helping to clear a few matters up, your expertise shines through!
[…] have all seen the success TrafficSynergy has helped me arrive at in my post, The Proof is in the Pudding, and by the number of comments, it is clear that this is causing quite an […]
I agree completely, and yes, it is all about flexibility. You have to cater to everyone’s needs, so I wasn’t criticising anyone, just rather making an observation. I’m very glad to hear that you do track the sales, but I’m willing to bet that CPS is more profitable for the merchant, most times anyway.
As for the revenues lasting, I was thinking of long term, as in over 6 months. If you’re generating sales for them, then it will last. I just don’t believe that your 1200+ clicks per day, are all camera related clicks.
But that’s just me.
@Andrew - Ye, I know you weren’t criticising anyone, that’s the beauty of a discussion thread I guess.
CPA in my opinion must be better for the advertiser, and also if a publisher can get things running well, there’s more money in CPA for him/her too, especially when dealing with %’s and travel campaigns, etc.
For some of TrafficSynergy’s click campaigns there is tracking, which allows affiliates to see conversions, which helps affiliates improve their click to sale / lead ratios. With this, I can tell that my CPC campaigns are in fact converting strongly.
Who said anything about Camera’s? But when you think about it - if you started a blog, for example, about digital cameras, and wrote great content, featured cameras, basically everything camera related, and people took interest, with the number of potential visitors and returning visitors, coupled with RSS feeds and mail lists, the chances are, you could make a killing with the SA Camera CPC campaign, but then again, would you go for CPC or CPA for this one
You speak wise words Andrew.
Well done Chris very impressive.. Hopefully its not from the Facebook scum site. I bet its not.
Thanks Charl, big up to your recent cheque too! Nah, the revenue is through other sites
Weird Chris, I spoke with someone on Friday who told me it was FB? When you gonna let us know?
Who was this person you spoke with?
I dont think he should let anyone know - why on earth would he disclose his money maker??
If he does the next week there will be 5 clones and the niche market becomes crowded, click price drops as advertiser aren’t happy with quality of traffic etc
ps - Chris do something with Facebook.co.za now
The current layout is miss leading fpr newbie users that want to reg on the real Facebook, not cool.
But the blog back up?
Hehe, Charl.. you’re mind’s in the right place bud, I ain’t giving away my revenue streams, that would be stupid
It would be a one way ticket away from revenue!
@Charl.. something is in the making actually, it’s taking a little longer than we had hoped, but stay tuned, cos it won’t be long from now!
The blog took down servers, and it’s been a nightmare transferring the DNS.
It won’t be long
WOW!!! *Gasp*
Well done dude, this is incredible!! - I think I really need to start blogging again, and also build a network of sites which I can place ads on.
I tried with my personal blog, but it turned out to be a bit of a failure. - You won’t sue me if I replicate your ideas? lol.
I must say that I am very impressed, will definitely keep an eye on all your sites for tips and hits and stuff because I really need to do something quickly to increase traffic and Click throughs.
Hey David,
Thanks a million for the kind words, feel free to ask questions, perhaps I can help you match your content more correctly to target the adverts better, and we can work on colours and advert placement.
Keep reading Webtrepreneur, there’s tons of knowledge within
Chris,
I first need to get my blog going again, and also that other network site that I keep mentioning to you on MSN, once that is in place I will most definitely come to you for some help.
You think wordpress is best for blogging?
Wordpress in my opinion is probably the best framework for a blog these days. There is so much support and so many plugins, anything you would ever need is available through a simple Google search!
We must get that blog going bud!
