Earn money online being a Web Entrepreneur
18 Oct
Spending time on affiliate marketing is something invaluable. Once you have spent a good couple of months reading, and a couple more playing around, you build a skills set, which can then be transferred to any form of online advertising. One thing I believe strongly in, is the difference between Search Engine Optimisation and actual Campaign Selection. Being able to drive traffic is a fantastic skill, but you need to drive your traffic to the correctly websites and landing pages. I have driven thousands and thousands of hits to certain landing pages, which have not driven any income what-so-ever, and then I have driven a little traffic to a landing page and earned 10 times the former.
Studying campaigns, relative to your traffic sources is key. If you are bringing traffic from a website which talks about travel and accommodation, then run relative adverts. This is a very obvious scenario, but it’s the foundation to successful online marketing. Early this morning, some partners and myself started running a campaign with TrafficSynergy and this campaign has proven to be excellent. We are running the Win a Trip to Mauritious campaign, which I’ve blogged about before, but this time we tried an alternative method, and it’s proven amazing thus far!
Here is some proof, but remember.. this is only 30 minutes after releasing the new campaign, and the funds are also still pending (obviously)..

I very difficult subject since it has the ability to touch on several sensitive points. I have been building content and links to my website and have attempted to have it earn its own way in the world, yet to date have failed with this part miserably. Learning to make a good association for your readers is paramount it seems, yet there is not easy way to get there from my trials. Thanks for the intro to the subject - it gives me hope that I will still be able to get there.
Ye, this topic could evolve into many things, I agree. I guess it boils down to looking at which key words drive people to your website, and which websites are referring people to your site. If you can study these two things, you will be able to select good campaigns.
Obviously, this isn’t applying to Adsense, but rather campaign selective affiliate marketing companies.
Good luck with it!
